Affenberg is a safari-style mini ZOO where monkeys run free among you, and you can feed them with popcorn (feeding is included).
You can only give popcorn one piece at a time, with your hand outstretched and the other behind your back. The monkeys are domesticated, and there is nothing to fear, even if they sometimes don’t look very nice. Young children are prohibited from feeding monkeys for safety reasons.

Pfänder peak – view of Lake Constance
The Pfänder Peak is just a small mountain, but the view of Lake Constance offers a perfect one (weather permitting). In addition to the lake, you will also see the incoming Rhine River and the town of Bregenz, from where you can go to the top by cable car. If you are lucky with the weather, you will see the Alps beautifully from here. At the top is a beautiful playground with a slide and a restaurant.

Sea Life Constance
Visitors to Sea Life Konstanz can discover the world underwater with dry feet. The huge aquarium is right on the lake between the port of Constance and the Swiss border. More than 3,000 freshwater and saltwater fish in more than 30 aquariums are presented on an area of 3,000 square meters. The highlight is an eight-meter-long Mediterranean tunnel leading through a huge aquarium containing 320,000 liters of seawater.
The most popular animals at SeaLife are seahorses, octopuses, and blacktip sharks, but there are also sea turtles and cute penguins. The underwater world in Constance is ideal for smaller children.
Then, visit with the children a stylish wooden playground that focuses on stones. It is free of charge and is right next to the Sea Life Konstanz complex.

Friedrichshafen and the Zeppelin Museum
Several airships are hovering over Lake Constance. And you can sit in it! Thanks to the museum in Friedrichshafen, you will learn the whole story of Zeppelin. For children, they have a lot of interactive games and digital elements. There is also a model of life-size cabins and lounges, where you can sit in a copy of a period chair or see what the interiors of the airships looked like.

Pfahlbauten – Museum of Pole Buildings
Thanks to the Unteruhldingen Museum of Pole Buildings, which is on the UNESCO list, children can learn more about the Stone Age. They will learn how our ancestors lived and also why they built houses on the water. There is a paid parking lot (where you can also spend the night) – 10 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by train. There is also a children’s playground nearby.
